Overview
These Terms govern your access to and use of Selected List. By creating an account or making a purchase or contribution, you agree to these Terms.
Accounts
Creators must provide accurate information and keep accounts secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We may suspend accounts for fraud, illegal activity, or Terms violations.
Wishlist content
Creators are responsible for the wishlist content they publish, including item notes and preferences.
We offer a curated catalog and may allow URL imports as a fallback. Prices and availability can change, and displayed details may differ from final retailer terms.
Purchases
Supporters may check out without an account. Payments are processed via Stripe. We may refuse or cancel transactions to prevent fraud or comply with legal obligations.
Selected List does not hold inventory; items are fulfilled by third-party retailers and, when needed, through our forwarding workflow. Digital-only gifts (gift cards, codes, vouchers) are not supported. We do not facilitate tips or direct cash transfers.
Crowdfunding
If crowdfunding is enabled, contributions apply toward the stated goal. Rules are set per item or goal and shown at checkout.
The rule shown at checkout governs what happens if the goal is not met (refund or platform credit).
Shipping & privacy shield
Creator delivery addresses are never displayed publicly.
Selected List may purchase and forward items to creators to protect privacy and improve delivery reliability. Delivery times are estimates and not guarantees.
Refunds & cancellations
Refund eligibility depends on fulfillment status and retailer policies:
- Before an item is ordered from a retailer: refunds are generally available.
- After retailer order: refunds may be limited or unavailable.
- After shipment: refunds are typically limited to damaged or incorrect items, subject to review.
Prohibited use
- Illegal goods, stolen goods, or weapons
- Hate, harassment, or doxxing
- Fraudulent transactions or card testing
- Attempts to circumvent payment controls
- Sexual content that violates applicable law
- Any use that risks processor relationships or compliance

Selected List is provided "as is."
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and limit liability. We are not responsible for third-party retailer actions beyond what law requires.
Disputes
If you have a dispute, contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
